CANTEEN NEWS!
CANTEEN NEWS SATURDAY 12TH NOVEMBER
Saturday 12th November, Gregg will be opening our wonderful canteen at 11am instead of 9am.
Unfortunately gravy isn’t available this week with your chips, but there are plenty of other delicious options as usual; nachos, chips, cold rolls, mini pies, mini sausage rolls and toasties (plus more!). A new addition for this week will be garlic chicken kiev balls served with chips for $8.
This week’s take home meal packs, prepped and served in the club kitchen is a creamy chicken and sundried tomato pasta bake.
Thanks to those who have offered to volunteer in the canteen to assist Gregg this week. Please make sure you are wearing closed in shoes and meet him around 2:30pm.
CHANGE OF DATE FOR SHALLOW WATER RESCUE COURSE
SHALLOW WATER RESCUE COURSE IS NOW BEING HELD SATURDAY 19TH NOV 1PM-2:30PM
This course is aimed at parents or age group assistants who have children in age groups U6 through to U10.
Rescue in water up to waist depth and be able to swim 25m.
The course will teach you the following:
rescue techniques, tube and contact tow, signals, surf awareness, safe beach zones, developing hazard identification, manual hazard awareness and safe techniques.
Without the help of shallow water cover, it can mean that our Nippers may not to be able to get in the water each week. If you don’t already volunteer for our club, this may be the role for you!

SEABIRDS INTRO SESSION THIS SATURDAY!
Seabirds intro session Saturday 12th November 12:45
Those who have registered as a Seabird participant, Kate will be having an orientation session this Saturday 12th November 12:45pm.
Meeting at Muster time under the Seabirds flag, participants will get a feel for what the program will be like. Some Seabird buddies will be there to meet the newest of our Seabird Nippers, do a tour of Club facilities and head down to the beach to see the U6-U13 Nippers in action.
