Training opportunity

Are you interested in being a Surf Life Saving Training Officer?

Training Officers play a critical role in surf clubs, up-skilling members and putting our patrol members on the beach. A diverse group of trainers is needed to make this happen. We are particularly in need of Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate (ARTC) trainers.

If you hold a Bronze, IRB or ARTC award you are eligable to undertake the training to become a Training Officer for that particular award.

Surf Life Saving South Australia is offering a 3-day course on the 13th, 20th and 27th June (attendance at all 3 days is compulsory).

If you are interested in attending please contact: kate.powell@surflifesavingsa.com.au

Numbers are limited so get in quick.

If you would like to talk to someone at the club about what it is like to be a Training Officer and what is involved, you can talk to Heather Eckert, Mick Kenny or Andrew Spencer (Bronze trainers) or Mick Jarvis or Neil Bisset (Subject matter experts).
