Why not spend a bit of time while in isolation perfecting your favourite carnival recipes?
This week’s special – Berry Protein Bombs
Ingredients
- 50g berry flavoured plant based protein powder (normal protein powder works too)
- 1 teaspoon acai powder
- 90g nut or seed butter
- 40ml maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon raw honey or rice malt syrup
- 55g ground almonds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 medjool dates (pitted)
- 150g dried mixed berries
Method
- Place all ingredients except for the dried berries in food processor or blender and blend until combined.
- Throw in chopped dried berries and mix.
- Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball.
- Put in air tight container and keep in fridge or freezer.
