Junior Carnival 2 – Southport – R&R and March Past

The 2nd Junior Carnival was an amazing day, with many highlights. Although no competition points were recorded for this Carnival it was the first opportunity for our R&R and March Past Teams to compete. Both these events are Traditional Surf Life Saving events which Semaphore has a long history of supporting.

Raelene Donnell and John (Freaky) Stevens were very pleased with the results of all our Teams in R&R. With congratulations to Ava & Eliza (Under 11’s), Amy & Holly and Alex and Tia (Under 13’s) who all finished in the top 3 of their respective age groups and Ella and Teagan after a single refresher training session taking out 1st place for under 15’s

Mandy Morphett our March Past Coach was also very happy with our two teams efforts. With our A Team finishing in First and our B Team (many of them, first year participants) finishing 12th out of 16 Teams.

Well done everyone!!!
