Aussies 2022

Aussies has wrapped up for another year! Congratulations to all of our competitors from Semaphore.

Some highlights include:

Teagan competing in the semifinal for the U19 board and the final of the U19 iron women and swim race;
Amy was is the Taplin final and came out of the water in 6th place;
Tyler and Hunter were in the board relay final;
Lilija came 7th in the Champion Lifesaver competition;
Lachie brought home 4th in the U15 individual sprint and 2nd in the U15 beach relay;
Erin and Nic both had great swims in the 2km ocean swim;
The youth had great races in a competitive field; and
Nic Shulz made it through rounds of boards and skis before lining up against multiple iron men and top ski paddlers.

Well done to all!

Support for new ATV from City of Port Adelaide Enfield

Huge thanks to the City of Port Adelaide Enfield for providing an $11,000 contribution to the purchase of a new ATV to replace a very tired red one.

Special mention to Councillor David Wilkins for championing the cause and to Andrew Edwards for his diligence and advocacy of Semaphore SLSC.

The new ATV will help us keep our beach and community safe next summer.
