Some of our legendary young adults recently completed 2 days of SRC training and now we have 11 new SRC’s ready to patrol for our club and help keep us safe. Some of them even got straight in to patrols this last weekend!
A huge thanks to everyone who gave their time to help out and a special thanks to trainer Andrew Spencer for his time and wisdom teaching these awesome young ones!
From this Saturday 8th October, our amazing Semaphore SLSC patrol crew will be on lookout every weekend and Public holidays. Their patrolling area is from West Lakes Shore (Mirani Court) down to the Largs Jetty.

We are still in need of a parent volunteer for the Under 8’s Age Group Manager Position.
We have 3 wonderful junior assistants with a wealth of enthusiasm and surf knowledge to support you each week. We also have 1 or 2 experienced surf lifesaver parents in the group, that can also act in the role of Age Manager Assistant to support you (but are unable to commit to every session due to existing commitments).
