If you 16 or 17 (as at 14.12.2020) and interested in developing leadership skills and building a knowledge of emergency operations, then don’t miss an opportunity to register for the upcoming Life Saving Development Camp.
Held at Chiton Rocks SLSC on the 14th – 18th December, the camp is a fantastic opportunity for our youth members to advance their surf life saving skills.

A reminder about IRB Crew and Driver Proficiencies this Friday the 6th November at 5pm at the club. This will be the easiest way to get proficiencies out of the way so if you can get there, please do.
Andrew Edwards, Patrol Captain
This camp is designed to get youth members (16 to 17 years) ready for a leadership roles within their Club and beyond. These participants will be ready to become Patrol Captains, and future Club Captains and Duty Officers. It is an ideal opportunity for those who are looking to push their lifesaving skills and build a knowledge of emergency operations.
This will be an equally challenging and rewarding week. Team members will build friends and contacts for life from across the state.

SLSSA are looking for expressions of interest for the Insurance Review Working Group.
The group is critical to ensuring an appropriate and cost effective insurance program is implemented in South Australia.

It is with great sadness that we farewell one of our Life Members and past Treasurer of the Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club.
Bob was a passionate, hard working member and good friend to many at our club, he will be sadly missed, and always remembered.

The 1st carnival for the season is not far away! Seacliff will host the 1st junior carnival on Sunday 15th November.
Can all Nippers please advise their Age Group Managers by Saturday 31st October if they intend to compete at the upcoming carnival.
The format for the 1st two carnivals is as follows:
* March Past will be held in between the two sessions at Carnival 2 only.
Please note parents/spectators will be limited if approval for +1000 person event is NOT given by SA Health.
