Many hands certainly did make light work!

Thank you to all of those Members who came down to help with the shift into our redeveloped Clubrooms.  It was a massive effort and gets us off to a great start as Season 2018-19 draws closer.

We are so very close to opening the doors to the public.  It will be wonderful to share our new facilities with the wider community.

Keep an eye out for updates over the coming days and weeks!

Youth Development Group: Meet & Greet

Hi All,

Luke Zille and Georgia Kenny will be in charge of running the Youth Development Group this season, with a focus on creating a strong team environment and maximising the number of members in the U13-U17 age groups.

On Sunday the 23rd of September the Youth Development Group is having a short information session at the Semaphore Surf Club from 11am-12pm, offering an opportunity to meet coaches, mingle and hear about what the youth group will be doing this season. It would be great to see as many of you there as possible and for those who may know somebody wanting to join the club, please invite them along. For those unable to attend the relevant information will be sent out as to ensure nobody misses out.

Please RSVP by the 12th of September to luke_zille@yahoo.com.au or on 0431376722.

For those with any questions please feel free to contact me at luke_zille@yahoo.com.au or on 0431376722.

Kind Regards

Luke Zille & Georgia Kenny

Bar & Bistro Staff Recruitment

With the renovations complete and the relocation back into the Clubrooms well progressed, we will be looking to re-open the Bar & Bistro to the general public in the coming weeks.   As a result, we have a few positions available within our Bar & Bistro teams, with the opportunity for member applications to be considered first.  Available roles include:

  • Bar Staff
  • Bistro Servery Assistants
  • Kitchen Hands

Some Hospitality experience is preferred, however, on the job training can be provided.  Bar Staff applicants will need to have a ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ qualification. The positions are casual & will therefore require you to be flexible in availability.

Should this appeal to you, please register your interest with an accompanying letter outlining your experience & suitability for the role (together with a CV) to Adam Sikorski via email to treasurer@semaphoreslsc.com.au by Friday 7th of September 2018.
