Club Awards night

Our Club Awards Night is locked in for Saturday the 15th of June, starting at 7.00pm.  The night will be a Cocktail-style evening and will be held at the Club. We will have more details in the coming week in relation to how to register your attendance & the theme for the evening.

This is a very important night for the Club, as it is an opportunity to recognise the significant contribution made by our various volunteers throughout the course of this last season & in some cases, prior seasons.  It is sure to be a great night for all members, so we look forward to seeing you there.

It is also not too late to nominate someone for a Service Award, so if you know of someone whom you believe has gone above & beyond the call of duty this year, please contact Raelene Donnell at raelene.donnell@gmail.com or Kate Newman at media@semaphoreslsc.com.au with your suggested nomination prior to Tuesday the 21st of May.

Members’ Draw moves to Friday Night

Now that we have safely navigated our way into the off-season, the Members’ Draw will move to Friday evenings as of this week the 17th of May.  The draw has successfully gone off the last two weeks, so its proof that if you’re there, you can win!!

The draw will continue to be held at approx 7.15pm.  We will also be having an interesting Food special for next Friday the 24th of May – more details will be sent out early next week for this event.

Come along and enjoy the food and drinks. You never know, it could be your lucky night!

Semaphore moves forward

With new facilities, it is only fitting that the future direction of the Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club receives some focus. The Board of Management, with the support of it’s committee members, has been working hard to develop a Strategic Action plan and way forward for the Club.

With the slogan “Bringing People Together”, the Club’s purpose, values and objectives have clearly been spelled out and a Strategic Action Plan for the coming months and years ahead has been identified.

See attached documents for more information. A hard copy of both documents is available at the Club.

We look forward to discussing this further in the coming months.
