Eliza’s Greatest Shave – Thankyou

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, I recently I shaved my hair off as part of the World’s Greatest Shave to raise money for Leukemia. I would like to thank everyone from the Semaphore Surf Lifesaving Club who generously donated to this cause and supported me – your encouragement was amazing. My original goal was to raise $400, but I ended up raising $2,787.07. Over $400 of this was raised in my donation buckets at the club and I know many people also donated through my webpage. I also owe a special thankyou to Ella and Teags, who shaved my hair, and Steph Breden who assisted with my fundraising through the club.

Thanks again to everyone.

Eliza 😊😊😊

****We are super proud of you Eliza, a wonderful example of the selfless, empowered and community driven young members our Club has. Well done to you!***

Function this Sunday night – Matildas on the big screen

This Sunday night (the 9th of June) we are hosting the Adelaide Jaguars Womens’s Soccer Club. The Jaguars are a local Club, who play & train at Semaphore Park/West Lakes.

With the 2019 Fifa Women’s World Cup kicking off this week, the Jaguars have chosen our Club as the venue to hold a Players night to enjoy the Matildas first Group game on TV.

As this is not an exclusive booking, the Bar will be open to all members as per usual on this afternoon/evening. So come down and cheer on the Matildas!
