Come and Try Nippers – 2023/24 Season

Does your child love the beach and having fun? Are you looking for another network of amazing new friends and want to be a part of a wonderful, family friendly, supportive community group? Do you want your child to develop surf skills for life? Then the Nippers Surf program at Semaphore SLSC is perfect for you!

Come and Try Nippers sessions at Semaphore SLSC are back for the for the 2023/2024 season starting Saturday October 21st , with Come and Try registration available from 11:00am upstairs at the club. But if you want to get in early and miss the rush then come to one of the Pre-Registration sessions specified below.

Cost is $25 for three come and try sessions, that don’t need to be taken consecutively but must completed by  December 16th.  Only full members can continue after the Christmas break.

Nippers is our junior activities program specially designed for children aged five to thirteen. It is a great way to help kids learn essential water safety skills, grow their confidence and make lifelong friendships. Not only is Nippers a fun way for children to enjoy the beach in a safe environment, but it also offers children an educational pathway through the Junior Development Program.

Nipper training is held on Saturdays from 12:45pm to 3:00pm, Point Malcolm Reserve, Military Road, Semaphore Park.

What to bring: long sleeve training top, broad brimmed hat, bathers, sunscreen, water bottle, towel and goggles.
