Want to be an IRB driver??

We are looking for expressions of interest from those with IRB Crew Certificate for an intense 5-6 week IRB Driver Training program.

Training will start in the middle of August with an exam date of late September.  

The course will be run on on Saturday and Sundays from 8.30am-12.30pm plus a weekend training camp at Goolwa being all day Saturday and Sunday morning. (accommodation to be confirmed.) 

We will also be working with Henley SLSC on a few sessions so there is a chance to get to know some other life savers too.

Let Neil Bisset or Andrew Edwards know if you are interested as we have a few names already. 

Mark your calendars now for the middle of August-end of September and you will be good to go for the start of the new season!

Australian U19 Rowing team Visit Semaphore SLSC

On Tuesday night Semaphore SLSC hosted the Under 19 Australian Rowing team who are here in Adelaide training and competing.  The team got to enjoy our great club and are now fuelled with selections from our Winter Bistro menu.  The food and service was well received, as we hear they will be back for dinner on Friday night!

Shifts are in 3 hour blocks starting at 7:00am to 4:00am.
