Nipper Teams Day wrap-up

Last Saturday saw the inaugural Brian ‘Ducky’ Donnell Nipper Teams Day in place of our normal training session and what a great day it was!

Feedback to date suggests the day was a success and it will be held again next year and hopefully for many years after that.

Next year we will look to hold the event earlier in season, possibly as part of the Christmas break-up.

It was great to see all the age groups mixing and the care that our older nippers showed for the younger kids was amazing. This event can only assist in our aim of building strong, resilient, and caring adolescents.

It was also great to see the parents of all age groups interacting with each other and getting to know each other, bringing our surf community together.
