Reminders
We will of course need parents to volunteer on the club fun day to ensure the event runs smoothly and the workload is shared, so be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved.
Christmas is nearly here and instead of normal training this Saturday we are having a club fun day!
Please meet as normal at 12:45pm on the grass area.
Kids will be allocated to teams made up of a mix of all the age groups. Teams will then take each other on in a series of fun events on the beach.
Everyone is invited to the boat shed below the club rooms after events wrap up, where each Nipper will get a free BBQ, ice block and drink. The BBQ is also available to parents and siblings with a gold coin donation.
In true Semaphore SLSC tradition, we will also be having a special visit from Santa and his helpers, who will be visiting the patrol shed after the BBQ. Each age group and their younger siblings will visit the patrol shed to meet Santa and receive a small gift (lolly bag).
Kids should remember to keep an eye on the water though out the day. Water cover get into the spirit of the day, dressing up in costumes…kids might spot a friendly elf or cheeky pirate out on the water!
Bar facilities are available both upstairs and downstairs, so we will have plenty of room to spread out.
Volunteers will be needed to make sure the day runs smoothly. Any help will be much appreciated.
We look forward to celebrating the season thus far, and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
After months of planning, design and a week of painting, our Surf Club mural on the beachside of the patrol shed is finally complete!
With financial assistance from the Charles Sturt Council through a Place Maker Grant and the skill of our artists Adam and Corey from Cold Krush we can now show everyone who comes past our Surf Club what we are about as a club and how we fit in with our local community.

Thanks to everybody who helped with the design ideas, we think we have captured the spirit of the Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club well and have created something special for all to enjoy.
