2019/20 Nipper presentations

Congratulations to all our Nippers – we formally wrapped up the 2019/20 season with presentations last Saturday. It was great to see 200+ people enjoying the day.

The day saw all our nippers receive a participation medal and Surf Lifesaving SA Surf Ed Certificates where all modules had been completed. Along with trophy winners for our Age Group Champions, Runner Ups, and Coaches Choice. We were also honoured to have had donated two vouchers (Family Passes to Monarto and Adelaide Zoo’s) per age group for encouragement awards from our friend Bruce Mosley at BCI Bus and Coach International, who by the way is one of our very special Officials.

Below is a full list of trophy and award recipients

A special mention to the U13’s who have finished their final year as Nippers. With many of them already having completed their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) they are sure to go on and be valued members of our surf life saving community.

Not long now until we are back on the beach for 2020/21!

New Patrol Shed signs

A big shout out to our fantastic club sponsors, Signlab, for creating the new signs for our Patrol Shed.

Now there will be no mistaking exactly what the purpose of this facility is, and it also helps to promote our club and surf life saving to the beach going public.

Thanks also to Stephen Sims for his help in coordinating and helping to make it happen.

If any club members need a sign, banner or car wrap made, talk to the team at Signlab and tell them Simsy from Semaphore sent you!
