Semaphore SLSC are reintroducing Members Cards that will provide members with a 10% discount at the bar and bistro.

Cards will be valid from 1st October 2020 and available to be collected from Semaphore SLSC Registrar by eligible members at the following times.

  • Thursday 1st October – 4pm to 6pm
  • Saturday 3rd October – 4pm to 6pm
  • Sunday 4th October – 4pm to 6pm

Assistance with membership renewal will also be available at these times or see the Membership Page for details and help documents on how to renew your membership.

Additional pick up times will be advised next week

Initially the card will be issued to all 2020/21 renewed and new members who are fully financial except those under 13 years old and registered for the Nipper program.

This requires that each member has

  • Renewed or created their online membership record via the SLSA Members Portal; and
  • Fully paid any associated membership fee.

SLSA National Leaders College applications

Applications are now open for the 2021 National Leadership College (NLC).

The NLC is an annual leadership and development program recognising young leaders in Surf Life Saving.

Participants come from a variety of clubs, roles and SLS backgrounds.

Key points:

  • Open to 20 – 30 year old SLSC young leaders
  • Held in Sydney, 31 January to 6 February 2021
  • Applicants must be a current/registered member of a SLSC and endorsed by the Club Committee

There are many different ways to get involved – Age Group Managers, Age Group Assistants, SRC’s and Bronzies.

If you have already registered your interested or would just like to hear more about different opportunities to be part of the Nipper program, than please come to an information night:

Semaphore Seabirds

Enrolments are now open for our new Inclusive Nippers group, the Semaphore Seabirds.

The Semaphore Seabirds will run alongside our existing Nipper program with modified activities for children with additional needs.

The program will run in 2 x 6 week blocks, starting 14 November.

Due to this being a pilot program, numbers are limited this season. Secure your spot by enrolling early.

The bistro is back!

Starting this week the Semaphore SLSC bistro is open on Thursday and Friday nights from 6pm.

Semaphore Seabirds

This season we are excited the see the Semaphore Seabirds get underway as part of our Nipper program.

The Semaphore Seabirds is a new group that will run alongside our existing Nipper groups with modified activities for children with additional needs.

The program consists of 12 sessions run in 2 x 6 week blocks, starting 14 November.
