Junior Carnival and Presentation

The first of this season’s Junior Carnivals is on this Sunday with Club members travelling to Port Noarlunga.  It looks like we’ll receive some warm weather for the event so it should be a great day on the beach.

Join us back at the Club after the Carnival for Presentations.  The Bar and Bistro will be open.  A set menu will be available to choose from.

So come along and support our juniors and the Club!

Hello Kate, my son Cameron will be attending his first U9 carnival @ Port Noarlunga, however, trying to find details such as time we need to be there by and for the newbies, what are good things to take would would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Jason

Apologies for the delay Jason. I’ve been out enjoying the weather! You’ll need to be at Noarlunga by 7:30am as events begin at 8am. Things to remember to bring include skull cap, hi-vis top, long sleeve top and hat for when they are not competing, towel, sunscreen, plenty of water, lots of food and snacks. There will be food available but it can be quite hectic simply going from one event to the next so it’s always good to be self-sufficient. I always have an extra towel and a change of clothes in the car for the drive home. Sometimes they get used, sometimes they don’t. We now take a small esky and a fold up trolly (in case we have to park a distance away) but this is only after a few years of working out what works best for us. Good luck and have a great time.
      Regards,
      Kate
