Why not spend a bit of time while in isolation perfecting your favourite carnival recipes?

This week’s special – Berry Protein Bombs


  • 50g berry flavoured plant based protein powder (normal protein powder works too)
  • 1 teaspoon acai powder
  • 90g nut or seed butter
  • 40ml maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or rice malt syrup
  • 55g ground almonds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 150g dried mixed berries


  • Place all ingredients except for the dried berries in food processor or blender and blend until combined.
  • Throw in chopped dried berries and mix.
  • Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball.
  • Put in air tight container and keep in fridge or freezer.
