Xmas Breakup Saturday December 20th
A reminder that our last training day prior to our Xmas break in Saturday December 20th. On this day we will have some fun and I can confirm that we will have a special guest from the North Pole. The members draw will also be held between 4.30 and 5.30pm. A reminder we commence on Saturday January 10th at 12.15pm on the lawn after the break.
Carnival Help Required – Sunday January 18th 2015
We are looking for people to help out at our Carnival on Sunday January 18th 2015, we would appreciate if you are able to help out for an hour on the bbq, food tent, preparation on Saturday 17th January and our working party on the day. Sheets are on the notice board upstairs, please add your name to the list if you can spare an hour on the day. We need your help to make our carnival a huge success.

Carnival No. 4 Sunday February 8th 2015
Just to confirm the carnival is on Sunday 8 February at Normanville.
Board Training
Friday 4.45pm at the club. Open to all who have completed their two ocean timed proficiency swims. A reminder if you participate in board training on a Friday afternoon and stay for a meal at the Club- don’t forget to collect your discount voucher from Pat
March Past
A reminder March Past Training starts at 11.15am please report to Mandy. As Mandy mentioned on Sunday this will be her last season as March Past coach and anyone interested in taking on the role please let me know.

Open from 10.45am to 12.15pm on Saturdays.

Message from Pat

“A warm welcome to everyone including our 47 come and try kids last weekend.

To assist us with our come and try kids, if anyone has any spare hi-vis tops that they can donate for these potential new nippers, it would be greatly appreciated. Please bring them upstairs and give them to one of the ladies on the registration table. With the weather predicted for Saturday we are expecting more come and try participants this weekend and if you have any spare hi-vis tops we will be very pleased.

This week we will again have pies, pasties, sausage rolls, donuts, coffee and salad rolls available from 11am upstairs have the a sausage sizzle at the end of training again this week and the cost for the sausage sizzle will be a $1.00 a sausage.

The lolly shop will be open at the conclusion of training this Saturday and thanks to Trudy for organising it, the lolly shop this week will be covered by the Under 11’s.

We congratulate those who competed in the ski and board series last weekend in Southport and a reminder to any Under 13’s and Under 14’s if you are interested in getting involved please speak with Karin on 0403221592.

Canteen Manager
As mentioned last week we are still looking for a canteen manager and anyone interested in taking on the role please contact Pat on 0419816911 or speak to me on Saturday.

Uniforms
The uniform shop will again be open from 10.45am to 12.15pm.

As mentioned last week if you are interested in finding out more about either march past or R&R please make sure you speak with your age group manager.
