Volunteers needed this Sunday for Carols by the Lake

We are looking for volunteers to help with setup and tear-down at Carols on the Lake this Sunday. The organisers are making a very generous donation to the club in exchange for our help.

With the club closure imminent, donations are vital to the club so it’s important that we can support these community events.

Where: Reserve opposite Bartley Tavern on Bartley Terrace, West Lakes Shore

When: Sunday 3 Dec 8.30-10.30am and 8.00-10.00pm

Note: Closed toe shoes required! They will have experienced people running the event to guide us on what needs to be done.

At the moment we are 4 people short for both shifts, so if you can help out on either (or both), please contact Adam Sikorski on 0439811746.

As always, we really appreciate your donation of time to help out the club.

West Lakes Christmas Carols – A call for volunteers

We need your help Sunday December 3rd to help set up and pack up Carols on the lake.  We have helped out with this a few times and Rotary has asked again for our assistance.

They request 6 – 8 adults to assist for 1 -2 hours from 8am and again from 8pm to set up and pack up the site.  As reward for our support Rotary will make a sizable donation for our services as the event is well sponsored.

Volunteer Criteria : Adults, reasonably fit, sober (apparently they had issues with other helpers and that’s why they now ask us), wearing appropriate attire (especially shoes).

They will have people experienced running the event to guide us on what needs to be done.

Please contact James Forrest, Adam Sikorski or Mick Kenny if you are able to assist this year or want further information.
