If you have a business, have family or friends who have a business or would just like to contribute in any way we will gladly accept any donations to put towards the night. Last years quiz was a great success, raising approximately $3500, and we would like to make this years even better. Call out for Age Group Managers and Assistant Managers

With the Nippers season fast approaching we are calling on volunteers to help fill several Age Group Manager and Assistant Manager positions.  No Surf Life Saving experience is required for this rewarding role.  We are looking for people who love supporting children to grow and learn in a safe, family friendly environment.

You may have a child that is participating in Nippers for the first time or returning in an older age group.  You could be a former Nipper member now looking to expand your experiences on the beach.  Whatever your background you will become an integral part of our Club, supported by the expertise of experienced members.  Training for the role will also be available.

We are seeking Age Group Managers and Assistant Managers in the following age groups:

Sand Crabs Under 6/7’s

Under 8’s

Under 9’s

Our volunteers help shape our Club and we are proud of the involvement we receive from our members.  You too can be a part of this experience.  We have an exciting program ahead for the 2017/2018 season and are looking for a team of volunteers willing to expand the diversity that already exists within our Club.

If you are interested in filling one of the above roles or would like more information please contact Junior Convener Bruce Moseley on 0428580507.

See you on the beach!

Club working bee/stocktake 30th April 2017

The club is still in a bit of a mess from nipper states and we have a few things that are in need of some maintenance, so what better chance to get this all done and many hands make light work. Sunday the 30th April will be our annual working bee from 11am.

We are also looking to do a stocktake on all club equipment, including uniforms and all food and drinks as our financial year finishes at the end of April.

As we charge towards our rebuild in early 2018 we would prefer to keep our repair costs at a minimum to ensure we are in a strong financial position heading into the rebuild. There are a number of items around the club that require minor repairs and maintenance so people with varying skills (or no skills) are appreciated, even if you are just pushing a broom or counting items around the club.

The club will of course be providing a bbq and a few drinks to thank everyone for their assistance. We will soon develop a list of things that need to be done, to help people prepare for the day
