Boaties Corner

A hard fought Boat Carnival was held at Southport on the weekend enduring torturous pond conditions presenting a hard row out and back.  The U19s Boys did an amazing job to keep the Henley U19s honest by missing out on the win by less than meter for four out of the five races.   The U23 Ladies continue to improve and impress with just only a little more than four months rowing experience under their belts keeping up with the top half of the field for their races. The TROGs also showing that they can keep up with young ones over five races and were able to start keenly for all five races.

The Boat Naming Ceremony will be the 6^th Feb at the same time as the junior Semaphore Gold event presentation. Please come and support the presentation and will be a good opportunity to meet the sponsors of the Boat and a few senior classic sweeps from the  Club.
